Does any of you know? What’s the trend right now? For this month?!?!
I guess it will be the “geek” glasses, you know the BIG BIG spectacles.. The Betty La Fea type of glasses .
Everyone has been looking for it nowadays. And it’s quite hard to find somehow (Especially in Indonesia, Since i’m staying in Jakarta anyway)
I find this glasses very attractive, it’s just so vintage! Everyone thinks that the word Geek or Nerd are referring to something bad, dumb and LAME. If you think that way, YOU ARE SO WRONG! Geek isn’t bad , dumb or lame. Geek is unique. And geek glasses are COOL! Don’t you think so? :] I would love to be a geek oneday! And i definitely WILL! Note that, I WILL BECOME A GEEK ANYTIME SOON! WATCH ME :p

DAY 1:
EVERYONE has been waiting for this, the come back show of BIGBANG.
Looks like all the fans are so excited, they even made “BBisBACK” into the trending topic on twitter..
They reached the 2nd place in less than an hour, which it was pretty AMAZING!
BBisBACK stayed on the trending topic, for about 3-4 hours! How cool was that??
I am so excited, who doesn’t anyway? :]
2ne1 also performed some songs during the concert. The girls performed their chart-topping hits ‘Fire’ and ‘I Don’t Care’. It makes the show even HOTTER! Come on, it’s 2ne1. Cute girls and handsome boys at the same time? WOW! Mad cool! I wish i was there to watch the performance though.

Idol group, Big Bang will extending their help to the earthquake victims in Haiti through their concert (Big Show)
Coming 29th January at 8PM, 30th at 6PM and 31st at 5 PM, the group will be holding their ’2010 BIG-BANG concert BIG SHOW’ concert. And to help those in need in Haiti, the group will also be donating from their first concert.
A YG Entertaiment staff said on 29th January, “Big Bang will be doing a donation drive at their concert venue for their concert performance this time. The Big Bang members will be also donating into this foundation funds.”
It was also added that, “We are expecting that the Big Bang fans will be participating actively in this donation drive. And the funds collected will be donated to help those in Haiti under the name of Big Bang and their fans.”

SNSD is one of the famous girl bands in Korea, they have 9 pretty girls as their group members. Lead by Tae-Yeon. They are under the SM Entertaiment (the production house)

The trendsetter in Korea
If you guys aren’t aware about the K-pop, and what’s going on over there. Especially in the world of fashion.
Let me go through it once from the beginning.
Nowadays, K-pop has a big influence to the teenagers in Korea and outside Korea (even outside Asia)
They are all start listening to korean bands / singers. Watching the korean dramas etc. Even some of the teenagers make them think that their favorite bands / singers are their role models too! They dress just exactly like them. I guess everyone will definitely agree about that since we can now see it by ourselves.
The most famous trendsetter in Korea itself is G-DRAGON (Kwon Ji Yong) , he’s the leader of a group band in Korea, Big Bang.
He is known as a fashionista since he loves to dress differently n from my point of view. It’s unique and outrageous. He changes his hairstyle every 3 months once. So there was this one time he dyed his hair into blonde, and everyone starts to copy his hair color, not only teenagers but also celebrities.

Right after that, some celebrities start to copy his hair color

2. Lee Hong Ki (FT Island)
3. Shin Dong (Super Junior)
4. Yoseob (B2ST)
and many others..
Not only teenagers will do that, but also the celebrities. Basically, it tells us that G-Dragon is one of the trendsetters that affect the fashion cycles in Korea.
